A young Welsh Guard Veteran completed Operational Tours of Afghanistan in 2009 and 2012 and was subsequently Medically Discharged, had fallen on hard times and ended up at the point of being homeless. Veteran specific sheltered housing was found for him and a support plan was put in place.
After 12 months, with his condition improving, he found a new home near to his family. The Welsh Guards Charity has supported him throughout and provided a grant to purchase some basic furnishings for his new home.
