Today, Tuesday 19th February 2019 at Elizabeth Barracks, Pirbright, His Royal Highness The Prince of Wales, Colonel of the Welsh Guards, presented Op TORAL medals to personnel from the 1st Battalion Welsh Guards who recently have returned from Afghanistan.
The Band of the Welsh Guards kept the families entertained during the parade and, once the medals were presented, His Royal Highness met with the families and soldiers before they head to Cardiff for their homecoming parade tomorrow.
