The Welsh Guards charity would really like to thank all our wonderful fund raisers who consistently go out there and raise the funds to enable the charity to continue its good work. In particular this month we congratulate the following:
Company Sergeant Major Steven Peters, currently serving at the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst has raised (to date) the superb sum of £1,170 by competing in the Leviathon 50 mile ultra event on the 6th October with the aim to complete it in under 9 hours. He smashed it and completed the run in 7 hours 54 minutes, coming in second place overall. It is not too late to sponsor him if you wish to do so at his Just Giving Page here.
Stephen Wannell, the Step Father Guardsman Thomas Sloman RIP who sadly passed away on 2nd July 2016 walked to the top of snowdon on Friday 28th September in his memory and in doing so raised over £1,012 for the Welsh Guards Charity. Again, it is not too late to show your appreciation and sponsor Stephen here.
