In the past, whenever the Battalion has been on an operational tour (and sometimes on an overseas exercise) The Leek has been published as a valuable link between families, friends and the Battalion. More recently Social Media has taken over this role as todays Welsh Guardsmen are able to keep in touch with their loved ones much more easily and often.
