Montgomeryshire, Shropshire & Midlands Branch of the Welsh Guards Association (WGA) had an excellent afternoon with a “Walk & Talk” at The Isle Estate, Bicton, Shrewsbury by the kind invitation of Captain Sir Edward Tate.
The wonderful walk around the farm was very enlightening and it was wonderful to hear Sir Edward talking with such passion about his aim of sustainably farming for the future and explaining how he is striving to improve the biodiversity of the area with enhanced ecological management projects.
All this was topped off with some excellent tea, sandwiches and cake. A huge thank you to Sir Edward for inviting us and for being such a charming and interesting host.
