St David's Day 2024 was celebrated on Wednesday 28th February, in Windsor with 1st Battalion Welsh Guards.
There's nothing quite like bringing the whole Regimental family together, and what better occasion than St David's Day to do just that? A fantastic day of camaraderie, tradition, and Welsh pride as we gathered to honour our patron saint.
The traditional St David's Day Parade saw the Regimental Lieutenant Colonel, Brigadier Giles Harris DSO OBE presenting the leeks and taking the salute as members of the 1st Battalion and Welsh Guards Association march past to the wonderfully stirring music, faultlessly played, as always by the Regimental Band.
