Op LONDON BRIDGE - September 2022
The Battalion’s and the wider Regimental involvement in Op LONDON BRIDGE is contained in a stand alone pamphlet a copy of which is below. Although not on the Blue Line the Regiment were heavily involved in all aspects of Her Majesty’s Lying in State and the Funeral thereafter and the pamphlet lays out in detail who in the Regiment was involved, whether serving or retired.
For the many who were involved it was and will always remain an unforgettable experience as well as a privilege to have played a part. The Regiment acquitted itself very well in the performance of all its varied duties as befitting the Sovereigns Personal troops and in memory of our late Queen and for our new King who although now Colonel-in-Chief, remains our Colonel until further notice.
The manner in which the Regiment executed its duties says a lot about who we are and what we stand for, the strive for excellence in all we do and at the heart our sense of belonging as a family Regiment.
