As well as back home in Wales, the Welsh Guards also has close ties with Cadets much closer to our home in Elizabeth Barracks, Pirbright. Maidenhead ACF Cadets wears the Leek with pride and we support them whenever we can.
Recently, a group was taken to Wellington Barracks for an insight into Household Division life.
Activities included Regimental history, Home Service Clothing familiarization, watching a Guard Mount, visiting the Guards Museum and Horse Guards Parade.
The final phase was drill on the infamous Wellington Barracks Square and the presentation of cloth cap-badges to recognize 4 Cadets passing their phase one training.
