Maldwyn Jones and Neil Rice arranged an excellent annual Welsh Guards Association Darts & Shoot Competition at Maindy Barracks Cardiff on Saturday 15th September. With around 60 Association members attending the competition in both the Darts and Shooting was fierce and frantic, as was the trade over the bar.
Monmouthshire had an exceptionally good day taking a clean sweep in all the team prizes as well as one of their team taking the individual best shot award.

This is a great social occasion and as ever the banter was in full flow with old friendships and rivalries be rekindled and cemented, unfortunately due to the accommodation at Maindy being used for operation purposes we did not have any teams from the North Wales Branch so hopefully we will see them next year plus a few other branches.
