Wednesday 27th June and another great day out for the Welsh Guards Golf Association. With tremendous weather it allowed us to really appreciate a very good golf course. The Glamorganshire Golf Club was hard but fair and the hospitality was second to none it. It would be hard to turn down an invite back.
The results were:
Winner and the recipient of the John Powell Trophy was John Badham with 32 points a better back nine to the runner up Martyn Griffiths and third place James Anderson
Longest drive was long Martin Topps
Nearest the pin Sgt Morgan
And the two’s winner, collecting a roll over totalling £33 was John Badham
Everyone is thanked for supporting these competitions which are going from strength to strength and details of the next competition (25 Jul) will be distributed shortly.
