Laying up of the old Standard of the Llanelli & Carmarthenshire Branch
On Sunday 8 October the Llanelli and Carmarthenshire Branch of the Welsh Guards Association laid up their old Standard at Saint Elli's Church, Llanelli. An excellent Service was held and conducted by the Rev Canon Huw Mosford, Rector. Also present were the Lord Lieutenant, the Town’s Mayor and other Council dignitaries and Nia Griffith, the MP for Llanelli. The Service and the Reception held afterwards was very well attended by branch members and other veterans in the area. A fitting day was had by all.
