A conservation crisis occurring around the globe is causing the loss of countless species, and one of the main factors behind this is the illegal wildlife trade, which drives the declines of many of Africa’s animals, including elephants, rhinos and lions.
Under the guidance of British Army troops, African Parks rangers are learning tracking, infantry skills, bushcraft and information analysis to improve the interception of poachers.
CSgt Vuevueika is deployed to Malawi as part of a British Army counter-poaching team working closely with Malawian Rangers to help protect the lives of people and animals and to train the park rangers as required and necessary.
