During the medal parade in Pirbright on Tuesday 19th February, as well as those receiving medals for their deployment on Op TORAL, His Royal Highness, The Prince of Wales also presented the following awards:

LSgt Viavialevu joined the army in 2001 and has seen operational service in Iraq, Bosnia, Northern Ireland, Kosovo and three tours in Afghanistan. For his commitment on operations LSgt Viavialevu is awarded the Accumulated Campaign Service Medal.Sgt Jakes previously served with 1 R ANGLIAN before joining the ROYAL ARMY MEDICAL CORPS. During his 18 years of service, he has seen operational service in theatres including Northern Ireland, Iraq and five tours of Afghanistan, for which he is awarded the Accumulated Campaign Service MedalCSgt Leighton Wilks has served with distinction for 20 years in the Welsh Guards and is currently the Welsh Guards Master Tailor. Having deployed to Northern Ireland, Iraq, Kosovo and most recently Afghanistan, CSgt Wilks is awarded the Accumulated Campaign Service Medal.Maj Aldridge MBE has demonstrated the highest levels of conduct over a distinguished 16 years of service. For his many years of service as an exemplary officer and demonstrating unwavering commitment to the values and standards of the British Army, Maj Aldridge is awarded the Long Service & Good Conduct medal.Maj Johnstone has demonstrated the highest levels of conduct over a distinguished 19 years of service. For his many years of service as an exemplary officer and demonstrating unwavering commitment to the values and standards of the British Army, Maj Johnstone is awarded the Long Service & Good Conduct medal.CSgt Rikki Johnson joined the Army aged 16 in 2006 and has served in Iraq, Bosnia and most recently in Afghanistan as the Number 2 Company Quartermaster Sergeant. He has been selected for promotion to WO2 and appointment as Support Company Sergeant Major later this year. He is awarded the Long Service and Good Conduct Medal.CSgt (CQMS) Greaves joined the Army in 2004. During his 15 years with the Battalion he has seen operational service in Iraq and on multiple tours in Afghanistan. Throughout this time he has maintained the highest standards for which he is awarded the Long Service and Good Conduct Medal.Sgt Hillier has been a stalwart of 1st Battalion Welsh Guards. Since joining he has demonstrated the highest standards of behaviour for which is awarded the Long Service and Good Conduct Medal.
Sgt Sale MC has served with distinction throughout his career to date in both the Royal Welsh and now the Welsh Guards. For his consistent good conduct over many years he is awarded the Long Service and Good Conduct Medal.Sgt Davies has served with the Welsh Guards for 25 years, having seen operational service in Northern Ireland, Bosnia and Afghanistan. Sgt Davies was awarded the Long Service and Good Conduct Medal in 2008 and today is awarded the Long Service and Good Conduct Bar.WO1 (RSM) Morgan has consistently demonstrated the highest levels of dedication and service over his 23-year career. For his many years of service as an exemplary soldier and embodiment of the values and standard of the British Army, WO1 (RSM) Morgan is awarded the Meritorious Service Medal.
