Johnny Rickett commanded the Welsh Guards in the Falklands War. He left the
army as a Brigadier in 1987, ran the Union Jack Club in London for 15 years before becoming a part time military historian. He now takes people on WW1 and WW2 Battlefield Tours. He and his wife, Fanny, live in the Cotswolds. They have two children, both of whom are married, and three grandchildren.
This book is dedicated to all those who served in 1st Battalion Welsh Guards during the Falklands War and to all our loved ones, who supported us.
